She teaches these skills with love and dedication using discarded items as moulds and also teaching mould making. As the course progresses she teaches the basics of a functional candle and soap business, the art of selling and marketing, the importance of packaging and presentation and the art of keeping books and being responsible.

Titus Karombe own this business and is a very capable young teacher and teaches his students everything there is to know to be completely functional in the workplace. Your old computer enables him to teach people how to repair computers and how to start their own business repairing computers.

The purpose of this course is to provide students with a sound foundational knowledge and skills necessary to set up, administer, manage and troubleshoot a computer with the appropriate operating system for any particular business environment. After completion of this programme you will be able to confidently maintain and support an organisation’s computer system which plays a key part in business stability and continuity.

From knit one purl one to creating beautiful baby clothes, jackets, caps, blankets, throws, wraps – Kathy Dean is creating dynamic knitters who are thriving in their own businesses.

Mike Nicolaides owns the screen printing business and is very capable of fulfilling all your orders. He also teaches others to become very competent screen printers. They are capable and enthusiastic and would love to print your T-shirts, stickers, caps, pens, etc. for you! Business savvy is taught throughout and is standing them in good stead. Part of the course is learning how to make your own screens at affordable prices and managing a business economically.

Pepe Cousins imparts her knowledge with love and dedication. Beginners are taught to sew straight and at the end of the course are adept at making pillow cases, table cloths, cushion covers and so forth. By the end of the intermediate course they can make a dress, a top and a track suit. The advanced course teaches them how to adapt patterns, cut patterns, design elements, creating to the point of a tailored suit. Business and life skills are interwoven through each facet of the course. Out of the Box tries very hard to be able to give each graduate a sewing machine and to help them set up their own small business. A Co-Op has been registered with the DTI and our graduated sewers are establishing themselves with great success.

Sheppard teaches with amazing passion. Learners are taught how to first put nutrition back into the earth and how to maintain it. All aspects of sustainable vegetable growing, marketing and selling are taught.

This course covers all the basics and takes the learners through the ranks teaching them to create tables, chairs, stools, shelves, cupboards, pedestals, etc. with perfection.
